Plural assessment and Indicators of wealth
Launching meeting of the workshop, Toulouse (France)

Objectives

(1) specify the challenges and common objectives of this workshop.

(2) present and debate a number of works and approaches of assessment of the solidarity economy activities.

(3) define a common program and a working methodology as well as the functions and means of the facilitation committee

(4) contribute to the public debate on other representations of wealth.

Preparation

For the definition of the challenges and objectives, as well as the means to be implemented for the workshop, a number of documents and proposals (launching text, report of Porto Alegre, suggestions of objectives and themes of possible discussions) have been circulated already on the electronic list. They will be the basis of our discussion.

The introduction and discussion of the different approaches of the assessment and indicators will be organized from general contributions on the political challenges of the assessment and the indicators, as well as on more specific contributions of the persons in charge of the WSSE workshops (women and economy, territory, fair trade…) who integrated the question of the indicators in their work.
